Laser Competition
While Terra Nova holds the Guinness world record for the lightest tent in the world, the Laser photon, the Laser Competition is still one of the lightest tents available. Weighing in at a minimum weight of 860g it is ideal for long distance hiking, or kayak trekking as well as bicycle camping.
I tested this tent on a backpacking trip and found myself hightailing it into camp, attempting to outrun the insurgent storm heading right for me. Boy was I thankful for how quickly this tent can be erected! The inner tent can remain connected to the flysheet, eliminating pitching steps.
It was very roomy for one person and has a transverse porch creating more usable space- perfect for your pack.
