Review:
Sperry Topsiders
Most baby boomers are familiar with Topsiders, but we were so surprised to find out all the styles available from this company.
Not only are the shoes comfortable and look great, but we have enjoyed trying out some of the styles we didn't know exist like the Women's Mule, and the lightweight water shoe. The Women's mule became a favorite shoe when feeling like getting a little more dressed up, or just slipping into it around the house.
The water shoes stayed comfortable while canoeing, kayaking and long walks along the beach. They have holes for the water and sand to empty out of the shoe. When traveling, weight is always an issue and these are feather light, but don't fall off when you tip the canoe, we know from experience!
The shoes are made to last and look great whatever the activity.
This may be the most comfortable and versatile dress casual shoe on the market. It's classic style is terrific for work or at play -- and since the outsole is the Sperry trademark non-marking rubber with wave-siping, there's a lot of secure traction whatever the conditions. The full grain upper is supple and extremely confortable. Even though there's no stretch fabric, these shoes fit a high arch quite well. The hand sewn construction adds to the quality and durability of this classic casual.
