Travelling Light Packing Cells
We tested the small packing cell when traveling overseas. We loved how the bag was super light, but the sides were firm enough it kept it's shape. The top had a full zip opening so it was easy to see what is inside. This became our favorite bag on the plane to hold all the things we wanted for a nine hour flight, and then a handy nighttime storage for quick access. The small is 8" x 5" x 4," holds 3 Liters and yet weighs only 1.3 oz / 37g.
Collapsible Plate and Bowl
Finally practicality meets ideal multi function light weight. Who says you have to "rough it" when backpacking or eating away from home. The X-Bowl and X-Plate are collapsible hybrids comprised of a rigid, cut-resistant base made of high temperature, food-grade nylon and walls made of food-grade flexible silicone, so they fold flat for compact packing.
We love being able to use their base to chop. The silicone sides can withstand temperatures of hot foods and nearby hot surfaces up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. The sides are flexible, so pouring liquids is easy. When collapsed down flat, the X-Bowl fits snugly into the X-Plate for extra space savings when packed. The plate is 9" in diameter and weighs 4.9 oz and the although the bowl only weighs 2.8 oz, it holds 22 fluid oz!
These are BPA free and when you get home, they are dishwasher and microwave safe. They come in assorted colors so you can mix or match.
X Mug
We liked to have all three pieces, so we also tested the X-Mug. It is constructed from a flexible, European standard compliant, food grade silicone. A rigid ring within the rim keeps it sturdy to hold onto and easy to drink out of but still allows the mug to be collapsed to a disk that will fit in the palm of your hand!
The X Mug fits neatly into the X Bowl and X Plate and altogether the collapsed set is less than an inch thick. It is only 2.7 oz, and holds 16 fl oz.
Adaptor CoolMax® Travel Liner
A climate control travel liner specifically designed for warm or humid conditions, yet it is so comfortable, we found we used it in all weather. The Adaptor liner, as its name suggests, adapts to varied temperatures and humidity Even if the weather is very balmy, the Adaptor provides a more comfortable night's sleep because it wicks moisture and has stretchy fabric that doesn't bind in the sleeping bag and keeps it clean. It weighs only 9 oz and is packaged in it's own stuff sack. Since it is machine washable & quick drying, the sleeping bag stays much cleaner!
