Review:
Pisat Solar Lights
We have found a product that should be in every home. The K-light is solar powered and for every 10 hours of charging, you get 20 hours of light on high. Once it is charged, it will keep it’s charge up to eight months! It is an innovative, eco-friendly solar-powered lantern, designed to withstand even severe, emergency conditions.
Approximately the size and weight of a can of soda, the unique combination of its solar-charging battery and bright, energy-efficient light-emitting diodes (LEDs) makes the K-Light unlike any other product available today. It has an handle and stand so it can be hung up or sit on the ground or table. It can be charged through glass or on a semi cloudy day, but best charging is full sun.
Over 1000 units have already been sent to Haiti!
This company is very committed to making a difference. They have teamed up with Koinonia Foundation to provide K-Lights to villages across Africa, replacing the dangerous kerosene lanterns commonly used on a continent where 75% of homes have no electricity. Read more about what is being done on their web site. For every K-Light sold commercially, PiSAT Solar donates a portion of the proceeds to the Koinonia Foundation.
