Review: Headsweats

Fifty Sense Seal of Approval Headsweats was founded in the winter of 1998 by shoe industry veteran and obsessed cyclist, Alan Romick. As many of us have felt, he was frustrated by the perils of heavy sweat blindness, migrating sunscreen, and odd sunburn pattern on his head through his helmet, he set out to develop headgear that worked.

He was encouraged by the constant feedback within the local cycling community, so he took the best attributes of what was available and improved on them. Finally a company that understands the importance of wearing hats or visors for protection, that don't make us uncomfortable.

Alpine Reversible Beanie

The Alpine Reversible Beanie works twice as hard to keep you warm. A quick drying knit wicks away sweat, while the mid-weight fleece keeps out the chill. It is a dual layered beanie, fleece on one side and knit on the other, so depending on your own preference and the how warm you are getting during your outside activity, you have two hats in one. Not only is it comfortable and versatile, but also machine washable.

Supervisor

This is the most popular visor in the triathlon industry and trusted companion of thousands of Ironman® finishers, the SuperVisor is durable, lightweight, and keeps you dry. It has a classic, straight fit.

The COOLMAX® fabric wicks away moisture for optimum comfort and performance. Super-soft COOLMAX® terry sweatband creates maximum air flow and moisture transfer. The black undervisor reduces glare, and the elastic back provides custom fit without any adjustments. Best of all, it is machine washable.

Race Hat

We love the low-profile, high performance COOLMAX® fabric that wicks away moisture for optimum comfort and performance. The super-soft terry sweatband creates maximum air flow and moisture transfer. Black undervisor reduces glare. It hasSPF 20 sun protection, is adjustable and only weighs 2 ounces!
