Dakine
When we first noticed Dakine, we thought this company was for younger women. We became an aware that this company is devoted to stylish items, well made and definitely appropriate for the over fifties woman. Dakine loves to put a lot of thought into each item, making them functional as well as a piece of art.
This large bag started out being used for travel. We were able to carry everything needed to enjoy the plane ride. With the light liner, it is so easy to find what is in the bottom. With a large outside pocket and inside pockets for smaller items for ready access, it soon became a bag for everyday use. It is fashionable and versatile. When we want it to look smaller, there is a strap to bring in the sides as well as a strap to keep the bag closed for safer use.
This is a great small wallet for those who need a place for business cards, credit cards small change. We tested the black one, and we love to bring it out of our bag. It reminds us of the old-fashioned classy cigarette cases. We can find it easily because of the hard sides, yet, again, has a darling print on the inside. With the elastic straps to keep cards in place, you don’t have to worry about everything falling out when the case is opened.
Dakine keeps fashion and function in mind with this wallet. Although small enough to put in a small purse, it has a solid clasp, multiple credit card and id slots. With the up to date canvas look with vinyl trim and cotton lining, it is lightweight and attractive. We can see this being used for many lifestyles.
Everyone is always looking for the perfect travel piece. With the airlines now charging for each bag checked, carry-on pieces are ideal. Dakine combines function with fashion in their carry-on series.
This piece uses high quality urethane wheels and a retractable handle making it easy and convenient to tote around an airport.
It is offered in stylish patterns, making it a lot easier to spot in a luggage carousel then the traditional black suitcase, should you decide to check it, and I always get compliments!
It offers great organization as well. The zipper splits the bag in half and each side has a mesh screen that zips keeping objects where they belong. There are two outside pockets, one larger then the other for added organization.
This is a great piece whether you are flying or need the perfect overnight or weekend bag.
This is a great overnight bag or a compliment to a larger piece for longer excursions. I use this bag a lot as my “purse” piece when travelling on the airlines, and it fits comfortably under the seat.
When travelling it has an open back panel that fits right over the handle of my carry-on roller, leaving my hands free. If you decide to carry it, there is an adjustable removable shoulder strap as well as two soft vinyl handles.
Organization is key is any bag, and this piece offers a large main compartment with an interior zippered pocket, and a small open pocket. There is also an exterior snap pocket for easy accessibility.
Not only is it functional but stylish as well. Conservative black on the outside with a funky pink paisley interior.
