They traveled more than 3000 miles by kayak and raft battling the world's most dangerous rapids, man-eating crocodiles and AH-47 gun toting guerillas.
This book combines the gripping story of this triumphant journey with the rich history of previous exploration attempts. It was amazing to realize that not all the world has been explored or civilized. After personally meeting Richard Bangs, it is hard to believe that this quiet, seemingly normal individual can have all these experiences. It is such a pleasure to have someone around to help us vicariously experience these adventures.
